Instructions for using MY tiny REMINDER®

These instructions are the same as you receive with your unit.  Please take a few minutes to read them as they are very thorough and easy to understand.  They will also allow you to receive the maximum benefit and enjoyment from your alarm.  Please remember to pull the plastic tab from the battery case in order to power the unit. To do this, locate the battery cover on the back of the unit. Slide the cover off in the direction of the arrow. Remove the plastic tab and replace the cover.  It will then vibrate.  Press any button to stop.  

SETTING THE TIME

1. Press the MODE button and T SET will appear in the upper left corner of the screen.  The hour digit will be flashing.
2. Repeatedly press or hold down the UP/SNZ button to set to the correct hour.  Look for the small PM letters to appear when setting the hour.  For AM hour settings, no letters will appear.
3. Press the ALM/SET button to store the hour.  Now the minutes digits will begin flashing.
4. Next, repeatedly press (or hold down) the UP/SNZ button to set the correct minute.
5. Press the MODE button 3 times and the time will be set. 

NOTE: If you do not press any key after setting the correct time, the unit will automatically set the time you programmed after 30 seconds.

SETTING THE TIME FOR THE VIBRATING ALARM

1. Press the MODE button twice.  You will see AL SET above the hour and minutes.  The hour digit will be flashing.
2. Repeatedly press (or hold down) the UP/SNZ button until the proper hour is displayed.
3. Press the ALM/SET button and the minutes digits will flash.
4.  Repeatedly press (or hold down) the UP/SNZ button until the proper minute is displayed.
5. Press the MODE button twice to return to the current time display. Or you may wait 30 seconds for the unit to set automatically.
6. Press the ALM/SET button and the symbol will appear on the right side of the screen.  Your alarm is set.

Note: When the alarm reaches your preset time it will vibrate for 2 seconds and then stop for 3 seconds.  This pattern will continue until you press any key on the unit.  If the alarm activates and is unattended, a built in battery saver feature will shut off the alarm after about 10 vibrating pulses.

Follow the above instruction to change the time for your next alarm setting.

USING THE SNOOZE FEATURE

This feature is ideal for when you want to be awakened from sleep or rest.
After the alarm is set, simply press the UP/SNZ button and SNZ will appear in the upper right part of the screen.

Your alarm will vibrate as normal after reaching your preset time.  However, after pressing any key to stop the alarm, the SNOOZE feature will reactivate the alarm after 4 minutes.  Once again you can press any button to stop the alarm.  The alarm will continue to alert you every 4 minutes until you press the UP/SNZ button to shut off the SNOOZE feature.

USING THE COUNTDOWN TIMER

The countdown timer is a great way to time your activities from 23 hours, 59 minutes, 59 seconds down to 1 second. 

1. Press the ALM/SET button to turn on the alarm.  The symbol will appear.
2. Press the MODE button 3 times or until you see the word TIMER appear above the minutes digits.  The hour digits will be flashing.
3.  Repeatedly press (or hold down) the UP/SNZ button to set the amount of hours.
4. Press ALM/SET and the minutes digits will flash.
5. Repeatedly press (or hold down) the UP/SNZ button to set the amount of minutes.
6. Press ALM/SET and the seconds digits will flash.
7. Repeatedly press (or hold down) the UP/SNZ button to set the amount of seconds.
8.  Press the START button and the timer will begin the countdown.  If you wish to stop the timer for any reason, press the START button again.  The START button can be used as an ON/OFF function for your countdown timer.  When the timer reaches 0:00:00 the unit will vibrate off and on until you press any button to deactivate it.
9.  To reset the timer to 0:00:00 press the ALM/SET button while in the TIMER mode.

RESETTING THE UNIT

If for any reason your unit displays segmented digits, does not work properly or locks up, simply use a straightened paper clip and insert into the small hole in the back of the unit.  It is directly above the words RESET.  Insert paper clip, press fimly and remove.  If your unit still does not work properly then the batteries need replacement.

REPLACING THE BATTERIES

If your clock stops operating properly such as dimmed display,  weak or no vibration, replace the batteries.  Replace with 2 AG13, LR44 or equivalent.  These are common button cell batteries found in most major retailers and electronic stores.   Follow these instructions for replacement.

• Slide the battery compartment cover (located on the back of the unit) in the direction of the arrow to remove it.
•  Insert the 2 round batteries with the positive side (+) facing up.  This is also the flatter side of the battery.
•  Replace the cover by sliding on the opposite way in which you removed it.
•  After a few seconds the clock will set to a default of 12:00:00 and the unit will vibrate.  Press any button to stop the vibration and reset your clock using the instructions above.
